UPDATE: The issue of SharePoint Password Change with changing passwords after installing Microsoft Updates KB3167679 and/or KB3177108 is fixed.
It is impossible for now to change user password with Virto SharePoint Password Change web part because of Windows Update on our server.
Microsoft support response:
The root cause of this issue is understood. We plan to release a fix that resolves this issue in October 2016. This release date is subject to change. This article will be updated with additional details as they become available.
